♥ Daring Deeds

The task is to finish this list of 101 deeds in 1001 days. I think this is a perfect chance to achieve some things, and it’s definitely more realistic than New Year’s resolutions. I’ve done this already, see my résumé here. This list was not my idea, but I actually don’t know who started it in the first place…

I started this list on November 22nd 2011, so my deadline in August 19th 2014. Let the new story beginn…

13 done, 88 still to do.

  1. Submit a design to teefury, riptapparel or threadless.
  2. Record a demo of at least 3 songs with Greenlesque.
  3. Build a BJD from polymer clay.
  4. Sew a bustle dress.
  5. Sew a corset.
  6. Do my Latin certificate.
  7. Start the Splinterworld web comic.
  8. Draw and colour 5 of my RPG characters.
  9. Sew 2 pyjamas.
  10. Go outside for one hour per day for a month.
  11. Go to a museum 12 times. 4/12
  12. Practise with my harp for at least 1/2 hour per day for two weeks.
  13. Make an item from self-spun wool and dye it with onion peel dye.
  14. Sew an everyday justaucorps.
  15. Build a LARP weapon.
  16. Post a picture on Dunkelsüß.
  17. Start the Port Silomé project for real.
  18. Finish my tea service for four.
  19. Go ice skating.
  20. Go swimming 10 times. 2/10
  21. Learn seven more Flower Fairies by heart.
  22. Refurbish the old doll house.
  23. Learn to play Nyan Cat or the Velvet Paws Suite on the piano.
  24. Go abroad. If for only some hours or two weeks isn’t important.
  25. Host 2 more give-aways. 1/2
  26. Be able to put all my fabric into only one chest.
  27. Go to the theatre or the movies 3 times.

  29. Sew three pairs of bell-bottom trousers.

  32. Learn wet felting.
  33. Buy a bowler hat.
  34. Sew a new set of Rennaissance fair clothes.
  35. Watch Gone with the Wind.
  36. Sew 3 Lolita dresses.
  37. Get a new petticoat (means: sew or buy one).
  38. Find 10 nice everyday hair-dos. 3/10 (the Art Nouveau, the Sailor Rose, the Flipped Braid)
  39. Have a fairy tale photoshoot.
  40. Sew a becoming 20s-style dress.
  41. Buy a rulebook for any RPG.
  42. Get all Parasol Protectorate books.
  43. Make 3 stationary designs.
  44. Ride the old-fashioned merry-go-round in Frankfurt.
  45. Go to a festival.
  46. Go to a Steampunk LARP or convention
  47. Go to a Rennaissance fair twice.
  48. Get a pretty fountain pen with a small tip.
  49. Host a tea party.
  50. Refresh my Irish/ Gaelic skills.
  51. Write a paper for university.
  52. Finish Drakensang.
  53. Play and finish American McGee’s Alice.
  54. Play and finish Madness Returns.
  55. Draw 5 RPG character portraits for others.
  56. Read the Queen Victoria biography that needs so much space in my book shelf.
  57. Master Grimm (or any other RPG) 10 times.
  58. Sew the Scoundrel’s suit.
  59. Get rid of my canvasses.
  60. Visit Pâtisserie IIMORI.
  61. Clean up my room completely. In progress. Still.
  62. Sew at least 20 things larger than a paperback book. 7/20
  63. Do the 100 theme challenge on dA for one of my projects.
  64. Choose a major for my studies.
  65. Go to bed before midnight for one month (weekends excepted).
  66. Mod a nerf gun for Jules.
  67. Search though all my clothing and just keep what I truly love.
  68. Have breakfast before 10 AM every day for a month (given that I wake up before 10 AM).
  69. Do waist and leg exercises every day for a month.
  70. Have a princess day once a month.
  71. Finish every started project without more than a fortnight of pause.
  72. Build an office chair with the parts of the old bistro chair I found.
  73. Sew a neo-victorian ball gown.
  74. Create a playable Steampunk LARP character.
  75. Make my room darker at night (read: shutters or drapes).
  76. Make a Steampunk Lara Croft cosplay.
  77. Make a Steampunk Harley Quinn cosplay.
  78. Order a wig.
  79. Empty the “projects” places in my room completely for at least once.
  80. Eat two kinds of fruit every day for a month.
  81. Learn French well enough to watch Un monstre à Paris without subtitles.
  82. Take part in a Savate tournament again.
  83. Don’t bite my nails for 3 months.
  84. Paint the only Warhammer figurine I’ve got.
  85. Post on dA at least once a week for 3 months.
  86. Get my ear pierced (again).
  87. Decide ultimately it I want “the” tattoo and if yes, get it.
  88. Order something from Manufactum.
  89. Save 15€ per month for one year.
  90. Buy no luxury items for a month.
  91. Eat only self-made sweets for a month.
  92. Design a 15-looks collection for Villa Cyriax.
  93. Make one of these outfits come true.
  94. Model on the catwalk for Jules.
  95. Make candels from snail shells. Or acorn caps.
  96. Find a purpose for as many of the parts of the old typewriter as possible.
  97. Bake bread.
  98. Decide if I want the Alice Poker Dress, and if yes, buy it.
  99. Knit the two-face scarf.
  100. Get a new head-set (or repair the old one) and speakers, mod at least the latter.
  101. Eat no pre-made food (read: meals) for a month.

    you could combine them, by walking extremly slow from your home to the museum in biegenstraße. it might be boring to look at the same paintings after a few visits, but 12 times are possibly university record, so you could ask the guard for support…

    • O.o Rather not, after being hit on by the weird attendant that one and only time I went there (for the cast collection assignment)… and the pieces there are really boring. No, I’d rather go to one of my beloved museums in Frankfurt with GayBestFriend (TM).
