UFO Friday

UFO Friday is my (usually) bi-weekly series where I show you what projects I’ve been working on (UFO standing for UnFinished Objects). For more of these, look here and for every other week’s feature, Finished Things Saturday, look here.

I do admit that I like holes in my jeans. I still think they are cool. But only, of course, when I’ve put them in myself (and I don’t like them on the thighs). When I bought new overalls last week they already had holes for fashion, of course, so I mended them.

One day before we left for Berlin I decided on a whim to work on another UFO. It’s almost done – I took it with me on the bus. Not all of the patches pictured made it but you’ll see in time.

And I also did some cross stitching, something I rarely do – I actually have done it once so far. I really like how the back of cross stitches look, almost like some sci-fi glyphs.

I’m always happy when I have projects to work on on the go. Do you take crafting projects when you travel?

I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend!

  1. I can’t wait to see what these look like finished! I sometimes bring a crochet project on long car trips. Perhaps a square for my blanket.

  2. I’m looking forward to see the finished result! I haven’t taken much with me when I travel. Perhaps something to draw with or a crochet-project… and of course my little notebook to write songs in, hehe.

Any thoughts?
